what im looking for is the easy and fast way of doing it the directions dont make any sense . if you know how help a guy out thanks

Take the barrel off of the receiver by removing the magazine cap(knurled Knob on the end of the magazine tube). Take the barrel off. In front of the forward grip there is a retainer ring the diameter of the magazine tube that has (2) notches in it. This retainer ring has to be removed (counter-clockwise) and then the forend will slip right off. Replace the old one with your new vertical fore-grip and screw the retainer ring back on as tight as possile. Replace the barrel and magazine cap.You are done....

I have the same gun, just got it yesterday actually.. and John B is totally correct. I spent last night doing this, as well as putting on the 18 inch home defense barrel instead of the 28 incher.
looks like a totally different gun now.

woa... diont take off the barrel. unless you are replacing the foregrip. there are two screw holes on the back of the butt, in the butt pad. they are philips. unscrew them and rotate the buttpad 180 degrees. inside you will find a screw i think a flat head. remove that and the butt will come off.
