I don't know if it's healthier, but hot water and a good anti-bacterial soap is refreshing and cleansing.
I guess it's a matter of what one prefers.
I love hot showers!

Definitely Hot showers! Hot water opens up the pores in your skin, flushing out all the dirt and oils that accumulate. And it feels so good! You'll be cleaner and feel better too. Hot water also relieves soreness & stiffness. Great for a bad back.

hot showers can make your skin dry.... ????? but too cold of showers might do the same...both seem to soothe sore muscles, but ive heard that cold showers are actually better, for muslces that is,...but id say for mental health...hot showers...haha....who would want to take a freezing shower at the end of a long day? when the hot water runs out it drives me insane...haha

A good hot bath is what I take every morning. Gets my blood pumping. A bath reaches places that a shower just can't cover completely. After drying off, I put on a lotion/moisturizer on my skin.

body-hot---gets germs off!!!
hair-cold---doesnt dry up ur hair!!!
