Oh don't worry about that. Grandmas are just like that. She cares about you, a lot and she wants to make sure your fine. Tell her it's bothering you. maybe she won't do it as much.

Maybe I'm WAY wrong but it feels like she is trying to connect or even re-connect to you in a non-speaking way. Some people really want to try and make an effort to get closer, albeit the wrong way for you.
Take in a minute to think someone she may have lost someone she felt really close to.... and they are now not apart of her life. She didn't show them how they meant to her. She may be reeling from the shock that makes her "grab" at the people she has now.
Having, MAYBE, being left alone and all the while she thinking she was being independent, rather than what was happening was she was not letting anyone else in. It might be easier to live around, just doing your thing and not have to wait on someone to do something rather than sharing some of yourself with others.
Then her time w/ you comes along and she is out of sinc with what your life might be like and how you feel, act and move. "Anoying" the heck outta you.
Personally, what I would do is set aside a few hours alone to spend with her. I would make a favorite beverage of hers (tea, coffee, whatever) sit down, just the 2 of us, and just talk about the uneasiness I feel and to ask "what's up"?
Be warned, this may take some of your time and you might find out something of your/her past. This could be good or bad news, or even a different perspective all together. It could mean that she had something she wanted to get off her chest. Who knows.
The only real question here is what will you decide to do: Ignore her and feel the same or find out why.
However you choose, it's your life, good luck!

Too bad she didn't teach you how to spell!
Your grandmother may have early Alzheimer's or dementia. Don't be too hard on her. Besides, there are a lot of people that no longer have their grandparents around...be grateful for the fact that you do!

I think that she was-in a weird way- thinking about your personal health. Did anything physically happen to you that your mother told her about? Maybe she was just being a grandma.....most are odd anyway.

She was watching you to make sure you wouldn't get hurt. She loves you, but not in a bad way.

She was just being a grandmother, that's what they are known for. Enjoy it while you can she won't always be here.

That's what old people do, they find something or someone to waste their energy on.
