Including all gifts, not including meal (I shudder that add that stuff in). Family of 4, kids 9 and 22 months- we spent about $800. Didn't put ANYTHING on cc, gift wise, HAD to put $600 ER vet trip Sat. on cc though :(. All in all not bad, we really tried to rein it in, will try to spend even less next year. And yes, everyone got decent gifts- kids were happy. Just got lots of stuff on sale throughout the year. How did you do? Any plans to change next year?

I should add- that figure (for us) included Grandparents, aunt+ uncle, nephew, teacher, neighbor, close friends..all the 'little' gifts that add right up- not just us and our kids.

Oh it cost me an arm and a leg! I didn't keep tally of amount I spent because it was free money which I saved after bills were paid off. Next year I'm going to use my tax money.

I think the final tally was in the $1200 neighborhood. That includes my spending and my husbands on 4 kids, each other, friends and family. No cc charging here either. I also included groceries. I plan to save more next year and probably spend about the same. I should shop throughout the year like you do! I say I'm going to but I never do.....

With 4 kids ages 12 to 5 mo. i would say that i spent around $1200 that also includes probably about 10 various family members. It sure adds up quick!

between my son and husband I only spent $90, however I'm not sure how much my son and husband spent on me, but we keep it at a $50 min per person... so the most we should have spent for all 3 of us is $150. We also get things though out the year while things are on sale so we get a lot for the $50.

We stuck to a budget and probably spent about $300. Next year I hope to spend more without a budget so I can give better gifts.

I have 2 eight year olds. I have no idea and I don't want to add it up. I am guessing around $400 including family but I may be wrong. I buy throught the year so it doesn't hit all at once. I don't even have a credit card so it was all cash too.
