To quote in part:

"To summarize, more than 8 in 10 Americans identify with a religion and 8 out of 10 say that religion is at least fairly important in their daily lives; more than 8 out of 10 say they attend church at least "seldom"; and again more than 8 out of 10 identify with a Christian religion.

Atheists say religion is dying out, but many polls indicate likewise; in fact, 40% of the scientific community claim to believe in a Creator who is personal and answers prayer.

This shows that God's Holy Spirit is alive, and Jesus knew what He was talking with the words: "when I return, I will find faith!"

I don't put much stock in polls. Unless you are going to sample all 50 states and the territories it doesn't mean much. Some areas of America have a more religious lean than others do. I notice they didn't give what states they telephoned; for all you know, they could have just sampled the bible belt.

If 8 out of ten are religious and 8 out of ten are christian then what room does that leave for other religions? 0 out of ten. so that entire poll may as well be rubbish.
