There was a question here posted by a mother of a pregnant 12 or 12yr old girl. In her question..she wanted 2 know how 2 be ready 4 this child. She also pointed that she was ok with her 12yr being pregnant. Parents were like ...what? what do u mean u are OK...with this. I'm sure that she wasn't ok when she got the news, and she learned 2 accept the situation. I am sure .like all the moms ..u teach your chidren and hope 2 c them grow with no problems,.....but they make bad choices. Some even told this parent 2 abort the baby. That was not her question.....but if she had came with that question...again she was going 2 be jdged.....you do right you are judged...you decide to do good but ppl won't give u a break. Can pls all the mothers work together and give advices that u would want someone else to give you. Come with the great thoughtful solutions and let the person asking know that you all feel her pain.

I'm thankful 4 the great answers i get everytime i post a question.

people are very judgemental on here!

God does not judge a person until they die, so why should we?

I live by that saying up there and think more people should!

So what you are saying is, sound and reasonable advice needs to be tossed out the window, and we all need to tell others what we feel they want to hear?

Hon, a twelve year old's body is in no way prepared for childbirth, and this pregnancy could take quite a toll on the 12 year old in question. Ask any doctor...

Meanwhile, i see what you said -- the mom of the pregnant 12 year old had to come to terms with the child's pregnancy and face it. That doesn't mean she liked it or was really "ok" with it.

I'm never ok when a child gets pregnant, and i have to wonder why a girl of 12 would find herself in this position? It's not normal.

Was she sexually abused as a child and does she have emotional problems, so just gave in to sex? Was she so desparate for attention that she had sex? Why on earth does a 12 year old need to have sex? That is the question i'd be exploring.

And the question shouldn't have been all about the MOTHER, she's not the one who is 12 and pregnant... let's not feel sorry for her... perhaps her parenting skills need tweaking

Any well-adjusted 12 year old, wouldn't find herself pregnant.

take care

Okay, that child got pregnant. It happens. It's better if it doesn't at that age, but if they insist on keeping it, then better prepare her for being a parent, which will be hard because she's barely done being a kid and will now have a kid herself. She'll grow up real fast.

They also need to look for financial support from the father, and lots of emotional support from their family.

exactly.
i dont understand.
people would take the situation totally different if it were them.
she probably isnt feeling all that well about it,
and we all fu*k up at one point in our lives.
they shouldnt be so harsh.
at least she is smart enough to actually care about the baby,
and realizing her situation.

i agree. its easy to sling harsh words when you're hiding behind a computer screen. i bet most the harsh people in here wouldnt even think about saying such things to someones face.
