now they say I can whip her on Boxing Day. Is this correct?

Kudos to you for not doing it. Now, hold out and continue with the self-restraint. Be the better person. If you can't do that - then whip her good but make sure its worth it and the repercussions to you are minimal.
This would've been better if you let us know what she did so we could judge better if she deserves the beating your saying she does or not.

Why what good will come out of it. If you really wanted to do it, then you should have done it today, because it is Christmas has nothing to do with it. If you are going to hurt someone God is against that every day, not just Christmas.
