We have this popcorn maker (except its not a stir crazy but otherwise its exactly the same) and we usually us popcorn oil and popcorn salt then we put the popcorn in and it pops and we put more popcorn salt on top... I want butter flavored popcorn how would I do that?? Would I subistute regular butter for oil, or would I put both oil and butter or would I need to buy special popcorn butter or would you just melt butter and pour it on top?? Thanks!!

you could melt butter and drizzle it over the popped corn before you salt it. Toss to coat and enjoy!

we have a popcorn popper too, and we just melt butter and pour it on top. I'm pretty sure that you have to use oil because it gets to a higher heat than butter can..
but you can buy powdered junk that's special for poppers that you add to make butter-flavored corn..
target sells it I think...

My husband makes this about once a week. He uses oil and a stick of butter to pop the corn in. When it comes out, it is sooo buttery and good! Good Luck!
