What spicy said. I like the Remington 1100, I felt like I got the best value for my money when I bought it. Only thing I need to do is clean it every 500 rounds and change the o-rings every few years, it's been running great without any malfunctions. There's also the Beretta and Browning semi auto that's based on a well proven design and a few old semi autos no longer in production ( REMINGTON AUTO5, Ithaca models 10 & 51, Mossberg 9200 Jungle Gun, Winchester Super x ) that can be picked up at a good price. There's also the exotic semis like the Spas 12 ,USRAC and the Franchi, but I wouldn't call them a good value.

Here is a Savage 440 for sale. The 444 is simply a Deluxe 440 with auto ejectors and select walnut.
