because closing eyes represents you are not using that particular sense. I always wondered if girls would like a kiss even more if us guys would plug our noses and ears as well....leaving touch as the only "sensation" of the kiss!

Because Romance has some romance. Everyone has different expectations about romance. And, in every relationship we have, we have to adjust our own expectations to theirs. Your girlfriend’s is that people close their eyes when they kiss. If it won’t kill you, close your eyes. I’m certain, she is going to adapt to you as you adapt to her. That’s what makes a healthy relationship.

because when you kiss a girl with your eyes closed, its like you care more. and you only want her instead of looking around. its mainly just a girl thing, but yeah. its important to us.

girls think that if a guy don't close his eyes when they kiss he's not kissing with passion and the kiss don't mean nothing to him

I agree that it is akward and kind of makes a person feel nervous that perhaps you are concentrating on their expression or some other happenings rather than on the sensuality of the kiss.

usually us females like it when the guy also closes his eyes to kiss it makes it more loving and passionate. when u kiss with eyes open it makes us feel uncomfortable, like ur looking for flaws ........

when u close ur eyes it shows that u r putting passion into the kiss and by closing ur eyes ur showing her that u r into the kiss

I've heard cheaters kiss more often with open eyes. That could be a clue.

because it is beleived that if you kiss with eyes shut it means you are genuinely interested in the person being kissed and that you care.some people also feel embarassed when being seen to kiss.
