If i get a ticket for no proof on registration but forget to send it in in the 30 day period. could i still send it in and have the ticket dismissed.?

Nope, you were given 30 days to send it in. You have to pay the ticket now and still show proof of registration. Depending on the state you live in, some states revoke your driving privlidges after the 30 day period if fines or proof is not presented

You'll have to do what is called a request for re-opening through the court system. In most cases you are given the length of time in order to pay the ticket and/or dispute the ticket. If you do not pay the fine within a specified time you are deemed to have pled guilty and accept the set fine amount. However, as stated you must appear before the courts, sign a document and possibly appear before a magistrate who can decide if the request is worth re-opening based on the information that you have. If he/she feels that there is sufficient grounds then they may even dismiss the ticket. Hope this helps.

I doubt you're going to get the ticket dismissed - if you're required to have proof of registration on you, and didn't, well, that's pretty cut and dried.

Once you go beyond the 30 days, it's too late to excercise options - the ticket goes on your record.

if you forgot to send it in then you have to pay the ticket you cant get out of it
