Someone keeps scratching my car, i kept count of each scratch and its getting worser and worser. I don't know if its occurring at work or at my house. I want to install a hidden camera but i have no idea how these things work? Will someone be kind enough to introduce me to a hidden camera that is affordable and easy to install. Are cameras usually installed in the car or outside? i wish it was inside because i can't buy two and install them outside my work place and house, someone will probably steal it and sell it on eBay.

oh and something that is reachable at like a local electronic place not online because i need it quick before they scratch my car's right side:(

Thank You!
sorry for bothering your Holiday!

my work place is not a big place where the parking lot is filled with cameras or security. in fact its a store so my car is parked ight in front of the store but no i am not allowed to change the cameras to where my car is, i dont think the cameras inside the store will even look farther out to where my car is.

At my house, my parking lot is beneath my house so i can't capture any pictures from my window:(

any other ways?

I have a similar problem, someone at work spiked my tires every time I have brand new tires on. this happened three times. just happened again 2weeks ago when I put on brand new snow tires. Coincident? 3 times? NOT!

I was thinking the same as you but that's going to cost too much $$$ to install a hidden camera or a surveillance equipment in my car. If you really want to install a hidden camera, you should check with your local spy shop and security surveillance equipment stores. The answer is there for you. try the link below

At work, your company may have surveillance cameras that they could use to monitor your car. Even if they won't aim one at your car, if you can determine where the cameras are, then you could park within view of one. Check your car at breaks and lunch and if you find a new mark then ask security to check the tape.

At home, you could connect an inexpensive webcam to your computer and point it out the window at your car. There is software available that can snap a photo and alert you by cell or email when motion is detected. Remember to park where there is enough light to get a good image.

Keying comes to mind, running a key along the car. almost unobservable, though it can be heard. Often children/youth, not necessarily any just cause in it, park where there is light, or in a garage. Expensive repairs. Often some imagined or petty grievance/jealousy. Perps usually cannot be made pay for damages. Advise police, talk with neighbours, ask for extra patrols-others may suffer too. Try to get a timeframe-sounds regular activity. Ticked someone off lately? Vindictive little sods don't need much encouragement to start, and just keep going. m/f no real division

Don't know where you are at, but Pep Boys has some cameras that are wireless. Of course, that also means you have to be within range as well. Might think about parking way across the lot in the open where no one would have reason to walk next to the car.

To me, it sounds like you ticked someone off and they don't have the stones to discuss it with you.

i'm sorry to say this but even a secuity camera won't help but if you are that worried when your at home try and get a wireless digital camera and mount it just over your car and aim it down on it and get a car alarm and set it sensitivity high so if anyone touches it it goes off and it will alert you and anyone that maybe arround or you could alway stay in your car and try and catch them doing it yourself and confront them face to face your choice..
