Spanish, probably, because it is more widely spoken in the world than French, although I think French is a lovely language. You can use it in France (obviously) but also in various parts of Africa. You can use Spanish in Central and Southern America.
Other possibility is Mandarin!

Pick one that will be useful for where you like to go on holiday. You'd probably have more luck with French, Spanish or German, since there are a lot of resources for them. Also, I can't recommend Michel Thomas's language courses highly enough. http://www.michelthomas.co.uk/

Polish, for no particular reason..

Currently though, I'm learning Russian because it's such a big land mass.

Chinese is strong in the business world though.

I thought you guys (and ladies) learned French in school?? I grew up multi lingually, (German and Italian) and it has really helped.....what floors the Hispanic community is that I'm blonde haired and blue eyed and when I start speaking Spanish they think I'm from Spain......hehehehe

How about spanish? You speak that in spain, south american countries and mexico so you can visit many places. But if you learnt something else it's probably only gonna be suited to one country.
