Christians say man was made from dust.
Muslims from water.
Christians believed the earth was flat ....till modern science proved them wrong.
Muslims from the beginning knew the earth was round.
Christians believed the earth was the center of the universe till scientists proved them wrong.
Muslims always knew the sun was the center ( and that it spun on its own axis) and the planets revolved around it.

I did read the Dancing Wuli Masters by Gary Zukov
I do think that "The Cosmic Code" by Heinz R. Pagels is much better though.
They are both enlightening and very thought provoking.
I highly recommend both

Your question have no reason...

Islam came from the same Judaic roots as Christianity, so, what Muslims knew, Christians too.

Did I make my point clearly?

Here's an expert to answer your question:

"The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. It should transcend personal God and avoid dogma and theology. Covering both the natural and the spiritual, it should be based on a religious sense arising from the experience of all things natural and spiritual as a meaningful unity. Buddhism answers this description. If there is any religion that could cope with modern scientific needs it would be Buddhism. - Albert Einstein""

It's the religious dogma at the time that screws it up for everyone.

It's the zealots in all religions that scream the loudest and make the biggest bangs that we pay attention too. From televangelists to phantoms that fly planes in buildings.

Science is based on fact and theory.
Religion is based on fact with one hell of a lot of folklore and supposition.

People could use their common sense and realize that religion does have a place in society, and it can be a wonderful thing to help bring us all together, believers and non believers like myself alike. But when someone says their religion is the best, or that I will go to hell if I don't believe in their faith is when I realize that their belief is not one of inclusion, but rather exclusion and taking away my individuality.

Actually The ancient Egyptian religion seems to be the most scientifically sound, which is where Islamic peoples recieved thier knowlege of science. All the subsequent empires and civilizations recieved Chemistry, astronomy, physics, Mathematics, medicine from egypt which recieved thier knowlege from an even more ancient civilizations like Sumer, babaylon, and Ubaidnian, all before the advent of either religion.Europe being in the dark longer than most.

Hell no. the problem is which you would be able to no longer tutor the non existence of a component, fairly an invisible, all-powerful (supposedly) component. What we are left with is functional doubt. i've got in no way seen any information for a god (different than Ceiling Cat funnily sufficient) so I truthfully have suspended thought pending information to verify. The fundies that sense the overpowering desire for a god restore will continuously pull out the previous god of the gaps tripe and kick the full taking photos journey off returned.

Why do any of these questions you ask matter? We are spiritual beings having a human experience and that is why we need to address the Body, Mind, Spirit connection. There has to be a balance.

No to the Christians.
Just because the Islamic World brought forth knowledge and advances in astronomy, etc does not make their religion the one to stand above all others. Islam fails to be logical and reasonable in what they promise, etc etc.
Buddhist beliefs tie more with scientific thought, etc etc.
See Gary Zukav's first book "The Dancing Wu Li Masters" - it is far better than his second book "The Seat of the Soul".

God's Word says man was made from dust.
God's Word does not say the earth is flat. Man said that.

Now, as far as the earth being the center of the universe God created the earth and then the sun and moon so I believe that the earth is the reason for the universe.

I believe because God wanted us made in His likeness and we are created for His pleasure that everything known to man centers around man because God wants it that way. And God created it for man.

God loves us. All we have to do is to accept God's Son, Jesus the Christ, that God gave so we could have eternal life again. Adam and Eve lost is for us in the garden of Eden, but Jesus won it back on the Cross of Calvary. Believe God and live. Jesus is the way to life eternal with God.

The correlation between religion and science you're trying to bridge is false. It doesn't matter if the CULTURES were following a different path, religion was not a high factor in either of them. It was the society itself that found these out, not the religion.

And many more….
And many more yet to be discovered….
