They are made on a machine that specifically cuts them into a curly shape. Pretty cool. I love them. I wish I had that machine to make my own at home.

The potato is simply cut differently, in a long strip that curl around itself. They are usually seasoned with a seasoned salt as opposed to regular table salt.

they are fries which i think are made with a different kind of potato..and they're curly.
