I've had dark circles under my eyes for pretty much my entire life, and could never get rid of them. I've had enough sleep and have used undereye products. No luck. How can I get rid of them?

it could be genetic, it could be sinus allergies and pressure, it could be food allergies ... I had a friend with an iodine allergy that caused her to look constantly bug-eyed and over-tired until she found out about it and changed her diet ... make sure you are getting enough exercise, make sure you have a healthy diet, and look into going to an allergist ...

I am almost 40 and have dark circles that have gotten much worse with age. I have found keeping it light is what's best and there are a few good products out there. Also, what you put under is important too. I think the more natural eye moisturizers are better. I use Fresh products for my under Eye moisturizers. They have a great eye gel that helps smooth before applying concealer. I also use their concealer. I like it because it is light. On top of that I apply a light touch of Touche Eclat by Yves Saint Laurent. Someone else mentioned Benefit's products. They are good too. But a bit on the yellow side if you have olive skin as I do. Also good but, I found them a bit drying for my older skin were the Laura Mercier eye set. She has a concealer, eye brightener and powder. I used that for a while. Also cool caffeinated Tea bags and cucumbers help keep swelling down. Drink plenty of water, and take a good Epa/Dha fish oil supplement. What you put in your body makes a difference too good luch!

I too have dark circles and usually it's hereditary or some people just have thinner skin their eyes and the veins show more. I have tried so many concealers and the one that works the best for me is Realness Of Concealness by Benefit.

There is a small boxed kit with a skintone colored concealer as well as another yellow concealer called Lemon Aid. Also includes a lip plumb, face highligher, and an under eye de-puffer called Ooh la lift. Highly recommend!

they could be hereditary or have to do with a thyroid disfunction, so ask your docter....there are many products out there targeted to help reduce dark circles, you just have to find the one that works best for you, everyone is different. i recommened hylexin, or if you want to try a cheaper product but just as effective try neutrogena under eye brightening cream.
if you dont want to try any more products you can use cucumbers to help with swelling and reduce the dark circles and bags. ice and cold spoons pressed against your eyes work also.

Dark circles can treated with regular and gentle care.Cover your eyes with cotton soaked in luke warm milk for 15 minutes everyday to remove the dark circles around your eyes or dip cotton pads into freshly extracted mint juice, flatten them and place them on closed eyelids for 10 to 15 minutes. Check out http://useinfo-darkcircles.blogspot.com/ for more info.

getting lots of sleep may make your dark circles worse, if you are allergic to dust mites ... using fancy creams may make your symptoms worse, if you are allergic to any of hundreds substances used in those creams, eating carrots and cucumbers and whatever people suggest may make your symptoms worse, if you allergic to those foods ... try to find the underlying cause, such as hidden allergy (and trust me they can be very complex), get skin and blood allergy tests (skin tests can miss delayed reaction allergies) and then you can find out what is causing the build up of inflammatory cells .. you can find sum great info at http://www.whydarkcircles.com or http://www.antiallergyproducts.com - Good luck

it may be genetics and you can't get rid of them. otherwise, there is a benefit product, i forgot the name though, but it is a yellowish cream that will neutralize the color of the dark circles
