Hello everybody, I just got a Playstation 3 for X-mas and am very excited. I was just wondering if it was better to have the PS3 standing upright or just sitting regularly. What are some advantages/disadvantages.
Any Help would be much appreciated

We have ours on a marble tile sample and we have had both lying down and upright. If you have a habit of jumping around or stomping the floor when you play have it laying down.

Dude just let it sit down on its four itty bitty little feet. Cause it does not matter in the least performace wise which way you stand it... I would never stand it verticly though for fear it would fall over. However if you really want to stand it up they have special ps3 stands avalible for purchase

It doens't really matter, but I always keep my consoles sitting horizontally (sitting regularly).
By keeping it horizontal, the chances of it getting knocked over are reduced. If you have any house pets or small children in your house, I definately recommend that you have the PS3 horizontally.

if u hav pets or little kids jumping around the place its better to have it lying down but either way it works all the same
