Many of these answers are a great example of how objections to Creationism or Intelligent Design are ultimately subjective and emotional in nature—not logically rational. It’s not hard to notice how vicious the anti-creationism people can get. If someone has to resort to name calling, sarcasm, insults, ridicule, etc. to put down another person’s position, then what does that say about the strength of their own position?

Well, there is the Flying Spaghetti Monster. The Discovery Institute's plan, though, is that kids will be primed for Sunday School, where they will be taught that Bible's God is the Designer. What they don't realized is the FSM is more consistent with observation, so may well win the contest. For example, the FSM makes no pretense of being perfect, so the imperfections of His creations can be explained. He was quite drunk when he made the first man, for example, and he came out a midget.

(There are many more articles and press releases from the DI which call intelligent design a theory.)

Theory: a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world.
Myth: a traditional story accepted as history; serves to explain the world view of a people.
ID is not a theory but rather a myth.

He lost his magic wand right before he created the universe, so he could not make a rabbit come out of a hat.
