Well you can find it in the bible where it says his birthday was dec 25th, I guess so. But that's not there, his death has a date and place and even a time, imagine that, maybe that's what we should celebrate, something that comes from FACT!!
Think for yourself don't let other's decide what's fact and what not just because you/they want something to celebrate. Look it up.
Time of his death. The death of Jesus Christ took place in the spring, on the Passover Day, Nisan (or Abib) 14, according to the Jewish calendar. (Mt 26:2; Joh 13:1-3; Ex 12:1-6; 13:4) That year the Passover occurred on the sixth day of the week (counted by the Jews as from sundown on Thursday to sundown on Friday). This is evident from John 19:31, which shows that the following day was “a great” sabbath. The day after Passover was always a sabbath, no matter on what day of the week it came. (Le 23:5-7) But when this special Sabbath coincided with the regular Sabbath (the seventh day of the week), it became “a great one.” So Jesus’ death took place on Friday, Nisan 14, by about 3:00 p.m.—Lu 23:44-46.
No basis for winter date of birth. The popular date of December 25 as the day of Jesus’ birth therefore has no basis in Scripture. As many reference works show, it stems from a pagan holiday. Regarding the origin for the celebration of the day December 25, the Jesuit scholar Urbanus Holzmeister wrote:
“Today it is commonly admitted that the occasion for the celebration of the day December 25 was the festival that the pagans were celebrating on this day. Petavius [French Jesuit scholar, 1583-1652] already has rightly observed that on December 25 was celebrated ‘the birthday of the unconquered sun.’

The problem with your question is it assumes the bible says Jesus was born on December 25 which it was not in fact the bible deliberately leaves out that information because God never intended his followers to celebrate Christ's birth. The bible says specifically to remember his death and Resurrection, never his birth. Look into it and you find no believers in the entire bible celebrated any birthdays at all in fact John the Baptist lost his head due a birthday bash.
The only people in the whole bible which spans several centuries that celebrated birthdays was the pagans.
sorry but you will have to find some other example that is actually in the bible to make your point.

No where in the Holy Bible does it say that Dec. 25th is Jesus' birthday.
This is a date set for all to come together and Bless His Holy Name.
It is not about DVD's cd's, HD T,V's, new cars, maxed out credit cards, game boy.
When it comes to this then you have missed the point intended!

Well, the Bible is wrong about many things (as well as other holy scriptures; I'm not just attacking Christianity), but it never says that Christ was born on December 25th. The reason we celebrate it on that date is because Christians (namely, Roman Catholics) were trying to overtake the Pagan religions that dominated Europe prior to the arrival of Christianity from the Middle East, so they declared several of their most important holidays on days previously used for Pagan holidays (notice that Easter is surprisingly close to the Spring equinox [Ostara] and that All Saints Day is immediately after Halloween [Samhain]?). The Winter solstice, or "Yule," was one of the most important of all Pagan holidays, and the Christians put the celebration of Christ's birthday at that time in place of Yule to further push out Paganism. Funnily enough, the tradition of the Christmas tree was actually derived from a Pagan Yule tradition, and to have one was actually outlawed because of its pagan routes until it was revived in Germany as a traditional Christmas celebration. The Bible doesn't say that he was born on Dec 25.
The Bible is what proves that he WASN'T born on Dec 25.
So it's not the Bible that wrong. It's papal Rome in the 4th century. They're wrong. They were so wrong that they had to keep the Bible out of the hands of the masses for 1260 years (does that number sound familiar to all of you prophecy students out there?) so that they wouldn't be caught being wrong.

The bible doesn't say Jesus was born on Dec. 25th. Most Christians acknowledge that we don't know exactly when Christ was born. We observe his birthday on December 25th. It helps to actually read the bible if you are going to debate it. Merry Christmas!

The bible doesn't say that Jesus was born on the 25th of December.
The Catholic church started the celebration of his birth during the winter solstice because that's when the pagans had their biggest feast day of the year.

Well, yeah. The bible does not specify the date, but it wasn't in December. The reason the date was fixed as December 25 was to encourage pagans to convert without having to give up their traditions. The Xmas tree, the lights, the greenery, etc.--all are pagan traditions. Back then, because of a few problems with accuracy in the calendar, the winter solstice and return of the sun was December 25.
