What's wrong with kindly telling a young 6 yr old boy to not drum on and rub a 11month old baby's head because you think the head's still soft? Why did I need to get my leg whacked by his stepfather?

The baby wasn't my brother's kid it was my other brother's girlfriend's kid. The boy was my brother's stepson

There is nothing wrong with you telling him not to do that. He could have hurt the baby and you were trying to help them both out. The person that told you it was none of your business it wrong. Keeping the baby safe is every ones business if they are there.

I think that the rubbing would be ok just as long as he wasn't getting to rough, but drumming on a 11 month old babys head, I think that I would want my kids to be told not to do something like that family or not family.

How old are you? If you are under 18 and someone hits you without cause, that is wrong. Where is your parents? I hope you are ok and it is not a good idea to hit a baby on the head especially!! If it happens again call child protection services in your area.

If that baby is not yours or a sister/brother, than it's none of your business and the parents know best. but what you did was OK, just don't don't say it again to them.
