my child was the best thing ever to happen to me. the pain was forgotten as soon as she cried and i held her and looked in her eyes. best experience of my life.
i hope you have a good relationship with your mother otherwise.

Depends on how she was saying it. If it was being used as a guilt trip, then it would obviously make me feel bad. However, if she just says it as a statement, then I probably wouldn't mind it. Afterall, its just a fact of life.

My mom never said that.

I don't know how would I take it, deepens on how she says it.

I don't like that sentence, doesn't sound nice
