ok the sugar thing is lame...I don't think he as any. He is outside walking his dog. Should I bring my dog out? and what if our dogs don't like each other?

Tell him you'll bake a cake, your friends at your house so you can't go shopping and ask some sugar. (so he will also impressed by the fact you can cook. men love cakes! :) )
