Ah, then it depends on the frame of reference of the observer and. for a pub quiz, the key observer and "truth" determiner is the quizmaster, and what he's got written down on his answer sheet.

(The umpire's or referee's decision is final: even if wrong, it's right, If you want to make this theological, have a read of Romans 9!)

Truth is an absolute and the theory that truth is relative is part of the Humanist agenda that says mankind is as good as it gets.

If Truth is relative then it's not truth.

If all truth is relative, your statement will be false to some. :)

Truth has MANY defintions ranging from absolute to perspective.

Lets pretend I HATE cheese - just straight up cheese. For some crazy reason, I love cheese cake. I don't know if this is possible but for this arguement, it is. My friend sees me eating cheese cake and thinks I"m lying about hating all cheese. To her, she catagorizes cheese cake under cheese products. I might not see cheese as similar to cheese cake. To one perspective, I'm lying. In another, I am not.

I think my perception of truth is a little different from yours, i don't think truth is relative nor subjective. one plus one equal two, this is something that is a truth in itself and independant of human thought.

Truth is relative and subjective. Facts are undeniable and objective.

Truth: It's better to give than to receive (Depends on which position you are in, that this truth is beneficial).

Fact: If you eat too much cheese, you will get constipated.
(Prove it wrong, I dare ya)

I will ring your doorbell and run away!!!
