I think that online dating is a challenging way to meet new people because you never know what you are going to get. Its like going on a blind date. I have had better experiences with meeting women who I first met face to face in real life.
I fell in love with one woman online through a video game and I did not have the best experience once we tried to become real life friends.

online dateing is a challenge, but you can meet some real nice people
if you dont end up with a relationship match - well, hay then you made a new friend out of it.
I met my fiance through an online site - it wasnt yahoo,but I have met people from yahoo in the past

I wouldn't, online dating is nothing like real dating. Online dating is like nerds saying they are hot, and are fat fugly nerds. It is for cowards that cannot get a real date

oh hell..all the pessimism....its as safe as meeting people at a bar etc..just be careful and take it slow and meet in a public place and bring a friend
