Would you still let you toddler watch Diego if you heard them say freeze Bobo out loud while the two of you where out in the store?
I guess it's just that I don't want her to think it's ok to either call people bobo or tell them to freeze bobo. Because some people might take it a little personal than those who have kids her age.

I think Diego is ok still. My daughter used to watch Teletubbies (many years ago!) and she was always mispronouncing their garble, and it always sounded like a curse word! i learned real quick to laugh it off!

That's silly! If someone is offended by it...
1. Quit being a f'ing baby! It's a toddler and nothing that comes out of a toddler's mouth should be taken as offensive.
2. If someone is taken back by it... explain that she watches and education cartoon in which the bad little monkeys are called bobo's and when they are about to do something naughty... we all yell 'freeze bobo's". That should take care of it.
3. Kids can learn a lot from Dora and Diego and to take that away from them just because they might offend a stranger is insane. It's all about your child... not anyone else.

Don't over obsess. I think Bobo is the name of one of the animals. Diego is overall a great show.

LMAO...when my sister was littler her "nick name" was Bobo...If I had a toddler I don't think I'd have a problem with it, but that would depend upon whether my child wanted to watch that program for her half hour of t.v. time.

I would rather my child watch Diego than Family Guy, my daughter loves Diego and it's a great show so don't stress!

It doesn't sound like a big deal to me, there will be worst things that that toddler will see when it gets older. Just let them know its not okay. And if you're worried about offending other people which I don't think it would then don't let them watch the show.

Yes I would still let them watch it. But none of my kids watch it. They're more into speaking Japanese. My 2 year old used to watch it for a little while but got into wanting to learn Japanese since her old siblings were.

my daughter says "stop swiper" to people and she then says "ur supposed to say 'aw man" i just laught i find it funny. after all shes a kid
