I have a '03 Element and my battery just went dead. Wife bought me a Sirius Satellite radio and cannot hear anything...PLEASE HELP! My radio number (searched online and saw that I could hold the 1 and 6 down to get this) is 20036189. Thank you-Shawn

Same thing happened to me with a 2005 Honda CR-V.

Your car should have come with a dealer checklist. This will be a loose sheet of paper in the owner's manual folder. There you will find written on it somewhere the code for YOUR radio. If you've lost this paper or do not have it, you will need to go to the dealer to get the code. They will have it on file.

If it's just the Sirius that doesn't work, you have a connection problem with the Sirius installation. If the radio doesn't work at all, then you need to enter the radio code.

Somewhere there is a sticker on the car with the code on it. On my Element it's on the side of the glovebox. I've also heard of them being on the rear hatch. Here's a link from the Element Owners Club to the most recent inquiry regarding your problem: http://www.elementownersclub.com/forums/... Post #7 by ramblerdan should give you what you need.

you will have to contact the dealer and get the reset code for the car radio. happens all the time when the battery dies or is replaced.
