I am. I have been so blessed. Last Christmas I was ill and endanger of losing my lifee, living in a rental home with my family torn apart. This year I am back with my family, well and purchasing my first home. Sitting here waiting for the ham,sweet potatoes, baked beans, rolls and all to cook.
God has been so good to me.

I do see that I've been richly blessed in 2007. And I have nothing , really, to be down about. But, depression comes when it wills. I've been fighting it tooth and nail.

This is my first Christmas as a Christian. It has so much more meaning, more significance. I went to church in the morning and I was feeling so blessed that I am still alive and all those close to be have been kept safe.
It was an interesting Christmas as the revelation hit me that some of my closest and dearest friends are international students who go to bible college and eventually they'll all be leaving indefinitely... that made me cry... but I am comforted by the fact that I know they'll use what they've learned at college to furthur extend themselves in their lives and to reach out to others and open their eyes to gospel... and to help build the church.

Things are better with us than at this time last year. I've gone back to school, my health is better, I have a check for $5,000 dollars sitting on my desk to pay for next semester of school, my kids are ecstatic, we're extremely happy, and we're atheists!
If God is the one responsible for things like that, then this shouldn't be happening for us!
Perhaps *people* have been good to you. Let's give the existent, living, breathing *people* some thought, because I'm sure you didn't get to where you are all by yourself and I am equally sure that God didn't get you there.
