Prove it!! I don't see any proof that He exists, but nor do I see any proof that He doesn't exist. Or is it not necessary to prove nonsensical idea? I guess it is!

Just look all around you at what God has created. Are you so blind that you cannot see the witness God has given of Himself to us? The trees, the animals, the solar system, the mountains, vast oceans and beaches, all the different species of birds, insects, etc.? That IS the proof of God's existence, not to mention YOU yourself! God created man in His image - including YOU!

Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Rom 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Rom 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Google "Burden of Proof".
Read carefully.
Never post this nonsense again.

Rude comments combined with ignorance are not very productive, kid. You're simply wrong about the facts here in several places. For the two most glaring examples, science isn't about proving things "for sure", and when it comes to questions of existence, the burden of proof is on the one making the positive claim.

You should refrain from making snide comments about others' beliefs when you're talking about things you don't understand. It makes you look exceptionally childish.

And to answer your question, the existence of an all powerful deity that defies scientific explanation cannot be disproven because the hypothesis in itself is not a scientific concept and is therefore not capable of being subjected to the scientific method. Of course, this doesn't mean that the existence of GOD is completely impossible, but it also doesn't mean that existence of GOD is required either. From a scientific perspective, there is no way to know one way or the other.

It is impossible to prove that something does not exist. But if you believe that it exists, the burden of proof is on your end. Everyone knows that. Why don't you?

I came to realise I was an atheist as a conclusion - there was no decision as I was always an atheist.

I find it hard to believe in stuff without evidence and the ONLY evidence supporting belief in Imaginary Sky Dwellers is bible - a compilation of Bronze Age myths and superstitions made up by half naked sand-monkeys who needed answers to questions about life and death.

You cannot prove it either way..Thats why people choose to believe different things! Some religions dont worship any thing or any one some ppl worship cows for crying out loud! The reason we have so many wars is b/c we do not understand other religions...Some religions are just to scare us into being a "good" person..I look at it this way though, I live my life everyday I don't hurt or murder anyone but I don't go to church either..I consider myself a "good" person however in some ppl's minds (their religion being took way too far out of proportion) I am not a good person...Believe in what you want to believe in, just remember that other ppl have other beliefs and thats okay!

PS..Doing human sacrifices or something..(not a good religion)...lol

Define "God", and I'll get back to you.

Seriously. We can't prove anything if we don't have clear definitions for our terms. Unless we come to some agreement on what God is and what attributes it has, we can't make any logical proofs concerning its existence.

There is enough evidence to the existence of God but that final step of believing and accepting Jesus as Lord is where the faith comes in. There is also ample evidence of Jesus existing and that he was who he said to but evidence may lead you to the door but you still have to knock and go in!

For example, the earth was created in a great spot for observing the universe with no dust clouds etc. obscuring our view, I can recall articles talking about if there is an infinite God why isn't the universe bigger and now with Hubble telescope we get people saying why would God create such a big universe... can't seem make everyone happy.

As for the creation of life...
"The principle of [divine] purpose ... stares the biologist in the face wherever he looks ... . The probability for such an event as the origin of DNA molecules to have occurred by sheer chance is just too small to be seriously considered ... ."Ernst Boris Chain - Nobel Prize in medicine

Now I assumed you were looking for the hard evidence... now the changes we see in peoples lives and the events that happen that shape our lives those point to a God that not only existed but loved us enough to send his Son Jesus to pay for our sins!

C.S. Lewis early in his learning and life said God and Jesus were just myths like Thor and Odin but after spending time with JRR Tolkein and honestly looking at the evidence had this to say about his change in belief.

"That which I greatly feared had at last come upon me. In the Trinity Term of 1929 I gave in, and admitted that God was God, and knelt and prayed: perhaps, that night, the most dejected and reluctant convert in all England. I did not then see what is now the most shining and obvious thing; the Divine humility which will accept a convert even on such terms. The Prodigal Son at least walked home on his own feet. But who can duly adore that Love which will open the high gates to prodigal who is brought in kicking, struggling, resentful, and darting his eyes in every direction for a chance of escape?"

May you look for and find the answer that is true!

The burden of proof resides in the court of those making the claims.

Atheism is the default position.
