I am looking for an AK-47 for cheap. Tell me where I can find one on the web or at a store in Indiana (where I am). Please help.

I have called every place I can. Either they dont have them, or they are extremely expensive. Whats the problem with asking if you have the option?

I dont know how you define cheep but you can find some
at mostly any gun shop or Dunhams if you happen to live near one. Another option is to buy on-line but you will need an FFL dealer to complete the transfer for you.
Still another option. If you live near Indy, the 1500 Gun and knife show will be held again in a couple of weeks (I think on the weekend of Jan 11) at the fair grounds. There you will find plenty of options. Google it to get the exact date.

Your not gonna find one.. You may be able to find an AKM copy or someother Kalishnikov copy. But not a AK47.. those are few and far between and very expensive. The media and even alot of people who should know better call anything with a curved magazine an AK47, But every Kalishnikov weapon isnt an AK47. AK47's ar Russian made machined steel recievers, 99% of the guns refered to as AK47's are made of stamped metal. Calling one of these an AK47 is like calling a WW2 M1 Garand and "M16"

What's the deal with asking stuff like this on Yahoo? If you want to know what you have locally check your local yellow pages. Look for gun shops and sporting goods stores.
