Well I don't. Merry Christmas, Iloveyou<33. And while I'm on the subject, Happy Holidays, Happy Hannukah, Happy Kwanza and Happy Winter Solstice. If we're out of Jack Daniels I'll have a Jim Beam, cheers.

You do realize, don't you, dearie, that there is more than one holiday this time of year? But maybe next year I'll wish everyone a happy solstice and see how they like it. I don't get offended when someone says Merry Christmas, but I do feel a little left out because I am not Christian.

And you sound oh-so-tolerant when you suggest we "cry me a river and then drown in it." Talk about offended--what so gets under your skin about "happy holidays"? Too much tolerance for you?

Happy Holidays!

"hahaa wow. you people must not get out much then eh? you've never heard of the whole non-christians getting offened over CHRISTmas thing?"

And you're so sure that's real? It never occurred to you to wonder?

Don't believe everything Fox News tells you.

Gee, I Love You, you are one nasty Catholic! I've never come across anyone, of any religion, who is offended when I say Merry Christmas. If I did, I sure wouldn't insult them and swear about it. Have a very Merry Christmas!

I don't get offended when someone wishes me a "merry Chirstmas", because I know that person is merely wishing me a joyful time.

-----------------------------------------

If you will notice, mame, it tends to be extremely liberal Christians that get up in arms over the notion of people wishing others "Merry Christmas". The bulk of the populace doesn't really care. Just do what everyone else does, ignore those that are so judgemental. Eventually it will cause them to stop popping up.

I don't let it bother me anymore, and here's why:
People who have a problem with Christmas take issue with everything associated with it, including the whole concept of "Peace on Earth and Good Will towards our fellow man."

Anyone who has a problem with peace on earth and good will towards men, well, let's just say I ignore people who dislike those sorts of things.

I don't, and I'm an atheist.

Merry Christmas!

( I haven't heard one "Happy holidays" here in the Western part of the UK.)

I don't agree, so "everyone" doesn't agree.

If you want to make a fool of yourself by advertising the fact that you assume that everyone with whom you speak shares your beliefs and celebrates the same holidays as you do, go right ahead - it only makes you look silly.
