I have to agree with Goodfella. Jesus saves us from God's wrath because we all have sinned and come short of his glory. Therefore, if we give our lives to christ, we can live forevermore in heaven. And, don't believe those who tell u that Jesus doesnt save. Because he does.

Cool; you're trying to apply LogicReason to the Imaginary Sky Thingy.
Good luck with that.
Richard Dawkins: The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully.

First of all God did not create a place for us to be saved from sin ,he created earth and adam and eve for relationship, satan was rebellious in the heavenlies and God cast him out for he would not repent and wanted to take Gods place, that how sin entered into the world because satan tempted eve and she fell for it and then adam did, thats why God sent Jesus to die for us so we would still have eternal life and thats love more than you can imagine. God bless I hope this gave you clarity Lisa

Not at all, you have been lied to. The Savior offers to save you from final death. It is the analogy of marriage. Take His name (YHVH) and follow His rules (Torah) and you become His "bride" , and He will save you in the end. Believers followed Torah for 300 years after the Messiah, until "Christians" outlawed it. In exactly the same way a bunch of people were saved before the Messiah, through faith in His coming. Abraham, saw the day of Messiah, and was glad.( It was YHVH -the OT Mighty one, who sent His Son that you might be saved.)

Jesus save you from taking responsibility for your own actions, instead preferring to claim you were born that way and his death - or to be more precise, god's temporary death - exonerates you from wrong doing and secures you a position in eternal happiness.
Jesus saves you from having to use independent thought.
Jesus saves you from having to accept that you never will know all the answers.
Jesus saves you from reality.

death, hell and the grave, havent you heard? lol.
Why does jesus have to save with death. Why cant we just see jesus as an example of love in his life and follow that. Why do people worship the death of a man and not the life? Its insanity.

"Why would God create a place we need to be saved from?"
Good question.
Apparently, so that people will be frightened into believing in Jesus.

Well, I have wierd beliefs, so bear with me, lol.
I don't think that Jesus was God's son (since we're all Gods "children"). I think that Jesus was a very important prophet, but I don't think he came to save us from hell (since it doesn't exist) or God's wrath. I don't think GOd punishes people. We punish ourselves, and He gives us the strength to get back up again.
