No brightness, because it's really dim and causes your eyes too squint. Brightness actually induces headaches if on the computer too much, but helps show stuff easier.

make sure the room is bright with light
and adjust the screen to suit you
looking at a monitor in a dark room
causes you to squint your eyes
a bit like when you first wake up from sleeping
and somebody turns on a bright light
it hurts almost

Some eyes are quite dull, but it's the expression within them that counts. A twinkly eye is full of mischief and excitement, a dull one is just that - dull. I don't really go for eyes anyway. It's the shape and naturalness of the eyebrow that gets me everytime.

Yeap, no light is worst because you need to strain your eyes excessively in order to focus. But full brightness is second worst, as if you use the computer for long periods of time, you could bleach your retina.

Neither.
Brightness of the computer will have no effect on the health of the eyes. Set it so that you are comfortable.

I would strongly suggest, you did not have your computer, "full brightness", I am not an optician, however, if you spend a lot of time, (as some of us do on the machine) it is not good!
