Not that I don't like the new one but I just got used to John Paul II. He seemed so peaceful.

Oddly enough...I do. John Paul II was one of the few people I have seen in the public eye who actually WAS what he appeared to be. He was a good Christian, but more importantly he was a good man. It is not likely we will see his like again in our lifetime and that is sad because more of his kind might have made the futuure a fit place to live.
And for the record not only and I not Catholic...I'm not even Christian...just an old pagan with great respect for someone who lived what he said..and said what he lived.

Pope John Paul II was much nicer towards Muslims than this Pope. This Pope makes me very uncomfortable. I miss the old one.

Now, what should the next guy be like?

I liked him more may he go to the Elysian fields. Ben-a-dick looks like the emperor out of star war. Can you imagine him shooting lighting out of his hands and shouting "faith unlimited faith"
