"If Jesus had been killed twenty years ago, Catholic school children would be wearing little electric chairs around their necks instead of crosses." - Lenny Bruce

Jhong,

No, He wouldn't be terrified. Jesus is God incarnate.
Jesus also knew the Scripture, including Psalm 22 and Isaiah 52:13-53 where His death was prophecied.
Jesus also spoke of His impending death (Matt 20:17-28; Luke 18:31-33).

Nothing scares Jesus.

No he won't be terrified, Because it only took one Crucifiction to make a way for people sins to me forgiven, In Fact Jesus IS coming to rule & reign with his bride on this earth for 1000 yrs. Why should he be terrified, He has already paid the price. Now soon he will reap his harvest.

No, but maybe angry that those who confess their strong belief couldn't follow 10 simple rules to live by and the crosses fall under the rule about icons and graven images....

I seriously doubt that that the creator of the universe would be scared by a couple of pieces of wood, or a solid piece of some molded material.

LOL, can you really imagine God being scared of the images made by the men? It's gotta be a sin to ask such a question! Questioning the bravery of the son of GOD!!!!

Since it wasn't a cross that he was killed on (but just an upright stake or pole, according to the Bible), there'd be no need to fear a cross.

Galatians 3:13 (English Standard Version)
13Christ(A) redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written,(B) "Cursed is everyone who is hanged(C) on a tree"—

Would YOU be comfortable that a person makes many copies of a weapon that killed someone very dear, a loved one, and distributed the weapon. A weapon that was used to curse, Jesus Christ, surely has no approval. Do you approve of the cross that it's purpose is to curse? Or rather would you prefer to approve of Jesus Christ ransom?

Would you approve of the weapon that killed your loved one? Or would you approve of the good times and memories that that person left behind before being killed?

Is the weapon to be cherished rather than the life of a loved one?
Or is the life of a loved one what we should cherish instead of the weapon?

You decide.

I sure would be terrified if anyone I love cherished the weapon that killed me. Greater yet, a weapon that killed my Lord Jesus Christ. But i dont think it would scare Jesus Christ, but question is, how should we remember the Lord Jesus Christ death, by using a cross? Or by how he decided?

Furthermore, Jesus Christ commanded to anyone who wants to cherish the meaning of his death to do the following:

1 Corinthians 11:23-26 (New International Reader's Version)
23 I passed on to you what I received from the Lord. On the night the Lord Jesus was handed over to his enemies, he took bread. 24 When he had given thanks, he broke it. He said, "This is my body. It is given for you. Every time you eat it, do it in memory of me." 25 In the same way, after supper he took the cup. He said, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Every time you drink it, do it in memory of me."

26 When you eat the bread and drink the cup, you are announcing the Lord's death until he comes again.

1 Corinthians 11:23-26 (Today's New International Version)
23 For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, "This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me." 25 In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me." 26 For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.

The remembrance of the Lords death, is to proclaim or announce it by doing as he decided for his death to be remembered. Not, as how we decide. We must proclaim his death by how Christ decided. Jesus Christ, did Not say : "Remember me, by proclaiming and announcing my death by the use of the cross"

Or did He?

So who decided that the cross, a symbol of curse, should represent something that Our Lord Jesus Christ, would find approval of?

He would probably be scared of knowing YOU cherish the weapon that killed him, and not His desire as to how He would want his death to be remembered.

But, Jesus Christ, has no reason to be scared, i mean, what can scare him? NOTHING.

Rather, people do well in observing what Jesus Christ has said, by proof, that's were the bible comes in, thus reasoning with people.

Not at all. He already knows that that the religion founded in his honor is the largest religion ever. And it is growing all the time. Quite proud of that, I bet.
