Trying to find service records of soldiers I served with in the USA and Vietiam

Not gonna happen, same as if they try to get yours. You have to be the Vet or next of kin to get anything.

The only info you might get are tidbits either they or someone that knew them left on a unit web site.

If they were KIA there may be something on the The Wall's site.
As an example the link takes you to a 173rd AB site. SSG Cooke is my cousin.
