I have been with my boyfriend for almost a year now and everytime i metion an event or to meet my family, he wont go. He always makes up excuses. Iam getting really upset because my family is very important to me. My brother and father have know started a bet if hes going to come or not?? What do i do?

Those are huge red flags that you are unfortunately ignoring!!! Aren't you wondering why he is not allowing you to meet anyone? I don't even know where to start...He could be embarrassed of you or does not see the relationship as serious. Either way, both of those are bad! Are you sure he is not cheating on you? Not picking up the phone and hanging up mid sentence means he is with another woman. Ughh You're going to have such a hard time ending this when/if you find out the truth because you let this go on for two years. He calls you psycho because he wants you to feel as though you are wrong. This is NOT how a normal relationship should be. You need to tell him that after two years you deserve to meet his family and he needs to meet yours. Discuss going out with his friends, and see how he reacts. TELL him you want things to change, this isn't something you politely ask him to do because in a relationship these things are a must.

Well he needs to respect you and what is important to you. Find out why he keeps avoiding to meet your family and if he does not talk then try some separation .Don't be pushy because sometimes it does not help If he really cares about you he will come meet the family.

Because he doesn't want to move to that point in the relationship yet. Meeting the family is a big step for some guys. It can be a precursor to Popping the Question. He probably doesn't want to give you the idea that he is considering you as a marriage prospect yet.

Stop asking him. Spend time with your family at an event, and see if he asks to meet them. One year sounds plenty long enough. To me, that's a red flag he's not too serious about you.
Watch Heart & Souls with Robert Downey Jr. He comes around in the end.

Talk to him about it, and ask him if for some reason he is uncomfortable around your family. Then maybe have only a small group of your family members over to your pad for dinner and then have like wine and cheese and talk after dinner. That way, he will be more comfortable in his own house, and he can have a chance to get to know your family.....especially if you are heading towards marriage!

He may be shy, just don't make a big deal about meting a family. You can try something simple trick, Like you could ask him to came and pick you up for a day out and ask him to came in the house to wait for you and just act normal.
See what he have to say and just try to ask simple question about why and what is bothering him.

family is soo important when it comes to having ur boyfriend meet them. if hes not wililng to meet ur family, or even then, he should be excited to meet them, hes not worth it especially if it means its important to u. having a good relationship with in laws is SOO good. but bad ones, can pretty much ruin ur life

He's not serious about you. Lose him and fast. Your father and brother are totally insensitive which explains why you have chosen this jerk of a boyfriend.
I'd even consider losing my father and brother - they are way too mean to you.

well, i think he's jsut nervouse....maybe he's afdraid they wont like him, or that he'll just kindof be there and wont be able to do much....mine was like that, but he went b/c he knew it was imortant to me...and that side of my family is very judgmental and strict.....but fun.....lol...
i think he's jsut scared....maybe tell him it would be fun, and it really would mean a lot to you if he met them....it might be better if he met them anyway, if i end up marrying my bf, they wont want to completely skip out on my wedding and ignore him whenever he's around....

tell him in means alot to you if he refuses then his love for you not as deep as the one u have for him every1 hates meetingg parents but it has to be done the usuall time is after 2 month of dating one year dam thats a long time
