Unfortunately, directors are the ones who control the aspect ratio of the film they use when making a movie.
So, movies are made in a variety of ratios, not necessarily 16:9.

So, no. Movies are made into blu-ray in one only ratio, which may not match yours. However, you can scale on your TV (and lose some info..)
