You also may want the clutch :P

Anything with vehicles is ultimately possible, its just whether or not its worthwhile.

Check out this guy's cardomain, maybe message him/check the boards on what he has to say, prehaps a write up has been done.

Drive shaft too different wiring for the transmission and neutral safety switch. Different rear end ratio. Clutch master and slave cyls. clutch pedal different under dash equiptment. Easy if you have a complete donor car. Very hard finding 22 year old parts one piece at a time. Think long and hard. You would you look good in a 350z 2003 to present. You will get better gas milage modern saftey equiptment and a ton more horsepower.

Anything can be done with enough work and money. But it would be easier and cheaper to go buy one with the trans you want in it..
Take the amount of time and work and cost you expect it to be, and multiply it by two, and thats probably in the ballpark of the amount of work and time and cost it really will be.
Long, difficult job.

if you tell a car place you want to do that, they'll charge you through the roof because thats what they do. especialy because that SEEMS like somethign that would be a huge deal.

actually, if you do your homework and really look up everything you need to do, its not a huge job at all. if you have any friends that actually work at a car shop or something they'll tell you.
-- my friend anthony, his dad owns a shop and he's gettin his automatic 91 mustang into a stick; i told this guy patric(knows everything there is to know about cars) about it, and he said he couuld probably have it done in one day, its not a big deal at all.
