Between the web and libraries, most people can find just about any one. Others may need professional assistance.
If you are referring to your family tree, start by asking all your living relatives for as much information as they can provide. Take notes, then start:

Finding live people:
Two good places I use are www.zabasearch.com and www.peoplefinder.com
Don't forget, use your local library. Ours (a small one, yet) has www.ancestry.com and www.heritagequest.com, as well as periodicals, books and guidance from an experienced genealogist.
Keep good notes on where you find what: sources are very important.
Good luck!

Don't know if you are trying to find living relatives or trace your ancestry in America.
You need to clarify this.
If it is living people try Zabasearch.com or Yahoo's People Search.
If you wish to trace your ancestry, there are lots of good people on this board that can give you some great tips and advice. Just ask.
