To those who rated answers -- it is obvious from the fact that all of the "Yes" answers got all thumbs-up and all of the "No" answers got all thumbs-down that people who did the ratings were all pro-Brady people and evaluated solely on the question, "Did the respondent agree with me?" and not on the quality of the response. Shame on you!!

If you're trying to argue that Peyton should start... have you watched Brady and Manning play?? Look at the records. And why does this matter? I went to the Pro Bowl 2 years ago and Peyton threw 6 interceptions in the first half and they still didn't pull him out of the game. It's what the players, coaches and the fans want. I'm a Patriot fan and I'm not even sure Tom Brady will show up. He's usually golfing during the Pro Bowl.

Simply stated NO. Tom Brady is having a good year but the performance of the team is already tainted by the cheating scandal. As for the two quarterbacks, Peyton Manning is still the better all-pro because he was able to make the necessary adjustments in losing his first choice receiver to injury. If you look at the selection of receivers and backs Peyton has proven on the field to be the more unselfish player. Brady will amass great numbers and is nothing more than a system quarterback. Peyton is not a product of the system but a blend to today's tech saavy player and traditional student of the game. When they both play in the Pro Bowl the better all-pro will be obvious!

Based on pure statistics alone Peyton Manning doesnt even deserve to make the trip to Hawaii that week, unless its a family vacation. Dont get me wrong Manning is having a great season, but look at the statistics and lets reward some guys for their outstanding play that happens to be better than Mannings.

Tom Brady: 117.2 QB rating, 68.3% completion, 4450 yds, 48 TD's, 8 INT's
Ben Roethlisberger: 104.1 QB rating, 65.3% completion, 3154 yds, 32 TD's, 11 INT's
David Garrard: 102.2 QB rating, 64% completion, 2509 yds, 18 TD's, 3 INT's
Peyton Manning: 98 QB rating, 64.% completion, 3945 yds, 31 TD's, 14 INT's

IMO Manning doesnt deserve the Pro Bowl invitation, Brady and Roethlisberger are 1-2 in the AFC as far as top QB's (thats how they should play in the game too) but look at Garrard. His QB rating (which is a measure of how effective and well they are playing) is over 100 and higher than Mannings, their completion % is nearly the same, and he has 11 less INT's. Manning throws 1 INT to every 2.2 TD's while Garrard throws 1 INT to every 6 TD's, thats a HUGE difference. So why is Manning being rewarded just b/c he throws more passes than Garrard? We already knew Manning was good and that the Colts were good considering they are coming off a SB yr, but no one expected this out of the Jags or Garrard so it is just my belief that he should be rewarded for doing more with less.

But since Manning is going, HELL NO he shouldnt start over Tom Brady. Thats ridiculous. Brady is having the greatest season any QB in the history of the game has had, and you are asking if he should start the Pro Bowl? WHAT? Manning should be 3rd on the depth chart.

I think that Tom Brady does deserve to be the starting Quarter Back for the AFC pro bowl team. That is because if you look at 2007 stats between Tom brady and Peyton Manning, Tom Brady's stats are more successful. Tom Brady has played 15 games, and he has won all of them for the Patriots in 2007. While Mannning has played 15 and lost 2. Brady has 366 completions in 2007-08 season while Manning has 323....lol...Manning's passing yards in this season is less than Brady's coming in at 3,945 yards.. But Brady has 4,450 yards in this season..Brady has thrown for 48 touchdowns this whole season..one less than Manning's career high which he set in 2004 season...this season, Manning's total touchdown passes are only 31. Brady has thrown for only 8 interceptions this season while Manning has thrown for 14. Dont even talk about rushing..none of these QBs are rushing quarter backs...Brady has 33 rush attempts and has gained 102 yards out of it and 2 TDs..While Manning has Tried 20 times with -5 yards. Brady is also the Sportsman of the year

It's all been said, Peyton shouldn't even be going to the Pro Bowl. Tom should start for both teams. After the Pro Bowl, Tom should have a quarterback camp for NFL quarterbacks, and charge 1 million per camper.

No, Brady is way overrated. He's an above QB in a dummy proof offense. Moss made him a better QB. Remember Vineteri won 2 superbowls, not Brady. Also, Brady doesn't call the plays at the line like Peyton does. Put it this way..Manning in the NE offense would dominate year after year. Brady in Indy's offense would crap the bed.

NO! Peyton Manning is a smarter QB. I don't care about stats Peyton is a dang good QB! he deserves to start in it this year. The only reason Tom Brady is that good is because he has better recievers.

Nuff said!

Tom should start for the NFC also. It is the only way to make the game fair since Tom is clearly the best QB the NFL has ever had.
