The way you are explaining it, you make it sound like you are trying to paint the Jews into a corner.
Let the Jews be whoever they are! If they are thankful, great! If not, that's okay too. It matters not to those of us Christians who hold Jews in high esteem and regard.

Is this a joke? I think it must be, since nobody could be this painfully ignorant, surely?
Before making a complete fool of yourself again on this site, get your head round some basic facts:
Judaism was the first monotheistic faith, long before Christianity.
Jesus was Jewish; he lived and died a practising Jew.
Christians have persecuted Jews throughout history. To this day, there exists in the NT terrible remarks about Jewish people. Christianity teaches that the Jews killed Jesus when anybody with any knowledge of religion and history knows that the Romans killed Jesus and that the Jews had nothing to do with it.
Without Judaism, there would BE no Christianity.

Lets see there are 14 million Jews. Why should we care how many Christians there are? why should the success of Chrisitanity be something Jews are thankful for? Fo centuries the Church killed and oppressed Jews (so did Islam for that matter, its just less publicised.) Thise who follwo Christianity are NOT Jews, have nothing to do with Judaism and there is no reason for us to be thankful for the fact that 2 billion people follow a different religion.

You've got it bass ackwards, dear. Christians should be thanking the Jews. Without Judaism, the Christian cult would not exist. And, according to the Jews - that is, the writers of the Old Testament - the Christian Messiah is a fraud. They wrote the first installment, so I think they'd know how the second installment goes. And it doesn't involve Jesus Christ. At least, not the one Christians worship.
Besides, apart from claiming that Christians are Jews, you appear to be suggesting that popularity is somehow tantamount to the truth. Argumentum ad populum is a fallacy.

Earning a medal is never actually desired.
The majority of individuals in the military that earned a medal would rather throw the medal away than re-live the moment.
Contemplate the above...
The Hebrews already prayed to a true God, they will always be "the chosen people".
As Christians we are grateful to the Jews for their God has manifested Himself into Jesus for our sake.
The Hebrews/Jewish people receive continual flak from Christians that are sadly mistaken.
Truthfully, these so-called christians make the religion look hateful and ignorant.
Christ said to the Hebrews: I have not come to change the law, i have come to furfill it.
The latter statement is allowing the gentile the gift of salvation.
When are Christians going to understand the truth?

no, christianity sould be thankful for jews. Without Jews, christianity would not exist.
And it isnt about the popularity of a religion. There could be (I said could be not necessarily are) more faithful followers in those 11 mill than in the 2 billion christians. It isnt about the number, it is about the heart of each individual.

What are you smoking? If there weren't Chrisitanity, there wouldn't have been the mass murder of Jews over the two millennia since Jesus was born. And Christians do NOT follow the Jewish religion at all. It's what separates Christians from Jews.
Why would I be grateful to a group of people who oppressed and murdered wholesale my people for centuries? And why should I be grateful to a group of people who are still trying to oppress me?

First of all, no, we're not, and we shouldn't. Second, no, you don't.
Without Christianity, Jewry would be a much larger group. Two thousand years of crusades, inquisitions, forced conversions, pogroms, and genocide have really done a number on us. So yeah, thanks for that.
Claiming that Christians follow Judaism is like saying that Muslims follow Christianity. It suggests an ignorance of both Judaism and Christianity, and the refusal to distinguish between the two is really an insult to both.

Christians are not Jews, nor inheriters of the Jews.
Jews still number only about 14 million according to some estimates.
