I don't fault anyone for wanting to make a better life for themselves and their family, and I truly believe the majority of the illegal aliens in the US probably are decent people simply looking for more opportunity. However, breaking the law to make that happen is simply unacceptable.
1. We have finite resources. We can't afford to let every person on the entire planet come here who wants to. Eventually all the great things about our country that drew people here will get used up at the current rate of illegal immigration.
2. The people who are here, who take the benefits afforded by our income taxes should PAY taxes. Give and take. It's not all we give and Mexico takes.
3. We need secure borders to keep our people safe. Not only could terrorists easily get into the US through Mexico, but more dozens of US citizens (most of whom are Latino) have been kidnapped in Laredo, TX by Mexicans from Nuevo Laredo. Our government needs to protect it's people.
The biggest issue with deporting all those illegal aliens already here is what would happen to our economy - after all while they aren't paying taxes, they are spending money, and many are providing valuable services in the work that many of them do. Not to stereotype too much, but the food service, sanitation and farming industries would be crippled by the lack of workers if they all were deported.
That's not to say nothing should be done, but it’s short sighted to just say deport them all instantly.
Some will say that we have plenty of hardworking Americans to fill those jobs, but actually our created welfare state where we pay offspring of those hardworking Americans who did those jobs up through the 60's, to sit on their bums and collect checks and food stamps.
In other words, our own bleeding-heart liberal legislation actually created the need that illegals filled. Restrict welfare to a maximum of 6 months, make food stamps only available to the truly impoverished, and yet still, only those unable to work, and then you'd start to see a return of the work ethic our parents had.
The government should:
1. build the fence & lock down the borders to prevent new aliens
2. Instantly send back anyone who has a criminal record either here or in their own country.
4. Give anyone with a job, and no criminal record a small window of time to register to become a citizen or leave the country of their own volition.
5. Institute a system where any illegal alien who becomes legal pays an estimated income tax for the income earned while they were here illegally.
5. Offspring of illegal aliens should still be considered illegal and have to go through the same channels regardless of where they were born.

It sounds reliable in theory, yet undesirable economically. can we even have sufficient money the criminal and judicial expenses and the fee of imprisonment? A 5 3 hundred and sixty 5 days ban additionally sounds reliable, yet they provide up basically a small quantity who've bans now. we could desire to resign it no longer placed a band help on it. do away with all incentives. enormously birthright citizenship. The invasion began 15-2 a protracted time in the past, yet we've been acquaintances with MX for hundreds of years. no longer something has replaced in MX so it grow to be some thing that replaced interior the U. S.. The Mexican television & radio stations tell their people the thank you to return and what to do as quickly as right here, alongside with the thank you to get welfare. it quite is the draw, welfare. Take it away, problem solved. Their lives and livlihood are actually not in jeopardy in MX.There quite isn't any valid clarification for them to return, different than to get greater cloth issues.

Let's treat 'em the same way THEIR country treats illegals. What could be more reasonable than that? Of course, we won't have 20 million illegal Mexicans anymore, but I've got no problem with that. Don't tell me we can't get rid of them. We can if we have the will. And when enough Americans are unemployed, they'll find the will. Either that, or we'll have assassinations that will make those of the '60's look like a love in. Everybody on the feakin' planet can't live in the US! Sooner or later, even these Dum-o-crats will have to accept that fact.

I think they should be sent back and if they come across the border again then send them back again, the 3rd time just put some hot lead in their ***.
If they want to come here for a better life then do it the legal way and get a job, pay taxes and don't expect any special help.

preposition fun (with opinion): on-event or issue
of-person, place, object
They live next door to the preeminent economic power, it's natural that they would want to become part of that power. If we decide that we need to close our borders, that's fine, but then really close them and stop cherry picking the best and brightest minds from other countries to come be our engineers and scientists and let's also stop pretending that whatever they send back in remittances will offset the cost that their country invested in protecting, educating and raising them.
It's juvenile to think that if we take the best and brightest, that the people left behind won't want to join them.

Having a better life and how you achieve it are two different things. While we are a nation of immigrants nowhere does it ever say nation of immigrants and illegal immigrants. If Mexico is as bad off as they say why then are none of them protesting here or even the legal ones and pro illegal could be out in the streets telling the whole world about how bad off Mexico is, where are these folks at ? You don't get a better life when you have to steal, lie, cheat, live a dishonest life this is not a better life it is better income but even so the income is questionable.

To me it makes no difference, people are people no matter what their situation is or why they want to be here. As long as they obey our rules and are making a good impact in our America they should be allowed. It takes all kinds of people to make a world work. And as sad as it is to say Americans have always had a racism problem, when they get done with one race they start on another Mexico is not our only foreign country and they are plenty of different nationalities here but right now the illegals are the target for Americas hateful and and small minded people. American should not only expand their rights as Americans but they could use a lot of help in their social skills, not to mention HUMAN BEING SKILLS! There are probably here as many ignorant Mexicans as there are Americans. No one is GOD to make a decision on who should stay and who should not.
let's say we don't know what race GOD is, but if you died and reached heaven's door and GOD took one look at you and said "you can't come in, your not my color" where would you go ? You'd probably end up in the same hell you created on earth.

All of them should go back. If they want to come here legally, then they can come back. But no one should be rewarded for illegal behavior.
