Most techs have some of these just laying around that they've taken off of scrap instruments (the ones that got run over by the bus). If you're talking a common brand with a plated crown, they may just give you one.

For about $70 you can replace the crown (that's what the endcap you've lost is called) and the stopper with a Bigio (http://www.bigio.com/stoppersandcrowns.html) and really improve the response of your instrument. It doesn't seem like this would make a difference but it really does. I use this.

Woodwind and Brasswind (http://www.wwbw.com/Gemeinhardt-Replacement-Flute-Crown-(Closeout)-i148174.music) stocks replacement crowns for the Gemeinhardt for all of $5.49 in plate and $36.95 in silver.

For $65 you can get one with a gemstone set into it. http://fluteragiouscreations.blogspot.com/2007/04/gemstone-flute-crowns_29.html

The easiest answer is to go visit your local flute technician and see what he/she has on hand or can get for you. Expect to spend between nothing and $100 depending on what you'd like. ☺

Go to a flute technician. They usually have it or can order one for you. It can range from $50 - 1,000 depending on what kind it is that you lost. Silver is cheaper and the ones in the hundreds to thousands are gold w/ or w/out diamonds and stuff like that.

Depends on the brand of the Flute! Take it to an instrument repair shop and ask them! They may have spares or have to order one in
