I had a friend whose face went all swole up once, kinda outta nowhere. His ears and lips and eyelids were all swollen like 3-4 times normal-he looked like an alien, straight up.
The doctor ran some tests for standard allergens, but couldn't pinpoint the source at first. Eventually, my friend John cops to smoking pot. It didn't contain any allergens, but it seems that the recent crop had been subject to poor conditions for drying, and had developed a leaf mold. Turns out the inhaled mold spores produced his severe allergic reaction. He didn't, however, suffer headaches...
Who'd'a thunk it?
I'd say, if OTC benedryl'll eliminate/reduce your symptoms, take it.

uhm i dont think u can be allergic if you were your throat would like close up plus sometimes i get headaches too i guess it just hits sum peoples head harder so when you smoke just dont take too many hits at a time and dont take them straight to your head to many times in a row. be easy on it and it also might be the type of weed your smoking it might be too strong r u doing haze? if the headache is that bad id take advil or something but i dont advise it bc u never know how ull react with them mixed. hope you feel better :)

I guess you can be allergic to anything. I used to smoke, but I liked it because it made me feel good. If you get headaches, maybe you need to clean the piece you smoke out of, or buy some better grade weed. I know the schwag is cheap, but the greener stuff gets you higher and tastes better. Hope this helps.

Yes you can but, it is extremely rare to be allergic to weed. Bruce Lee died of an allergic reaction to cannabis(why do I know that?!? I am not that dorky,,, or am I?)
Maybe the headaches are from something else. Two weeks is a long time to be getting bad headaches. Maybe you should see a doctor.

Yes it is possible to be allergic to weed. But headaches aren't a sign of an allergy. You prolly get headaches from the smoke and lack of oxygen. Take smaller hits with more air. If you can use a water bong.

dont smoke....just kidding haha but yeah you can be alergic to almost anything. I dont think that your headaches are from the weed you should have the headaches checked out. Go to the doctor and tell them about the problem you have with headaches after smoking weed. They might be able to refer you to someone that can help with your headaches.

Lee died after falling into a coma. The coroner's report was inconclusive, and medical authorities came up with five reasons for Lee's untimely death. However, they all agreed that it was caused by a cerebral edema (a swelling of the brain caused by a congestion of fluid).

Let me say this once....YOU CANNOT DIE DIRECTLY FROM CANNABIS. Maybe you're allergic to it. but no one has ever died from it. Stop spreading lies.

The good news is that from what I understand, it is nearly impossible to be allergic to weed.

The bad news is that some people are bad trippers... myself included. I never get headaches but i always get extremely paranoid.

To fix that, you basically need to raise your tolerance by smoking larger amounts in one sitting or smoking more frequently.

Drinking while smoking can also offset some of the negative side affects.

Most of it lies in your head however.... forgive the pun. Weed basically shows your or makes you feel whatever it is your mind is trying to focus on, whether you are consciously aware of it or not.

Basically, to simplify, you just need to "think happy thoughts."

Know that it's all just the weed.... the cops aren't coming, your head isn't going to explode and if you are uncomfortable, you will feel better.
