Definitely not!! The way to heaven, which means enjoying a good life and whatever comes after, requires LIVING all the qualities that Jesus represented-goodness, kindness, understanding, respect for others, forgiveness, etc. etc. And that is all that Jesus, or God, would ask for.

Not for the Buddhist, the Jew, the Muslim, etc.
There are currently thousands of different religions in the world, and only one that believes that the only way to heaven is through Jesus.
Please read the following letter by James Clement Taylor, a true Christian by any definition.

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

We must be born again of the water and of the spirit. This is scriptural. We need to obey what the Apostles taught and that is the Gospel. They taught that Believing is the first step, then repentence baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ to get rid our sins forgiven and then we will receive the Holy Ghost with the evidence of tongues. Just believing isn't enough.

People sometimes use different words to describe it. They may say trusting in Jesus, turning your life over to Jesus, being born again, but they all amount to the same thing, which is realizing that you are a sinner and cannot save yourself, and choosing to accept Jesus' death as payment for your sin, turn away from your sin, and live for Jesus.
So basically, yes.
EDIT ---- EDIT ----- EDIT
After reading the other responses I realized that I had forgotten the few exceptions, cases where people are too young, or mentally unable to understand the need for Jesus. They are not accountable and will go to heaven automatically, still by the power of the blood of Jesus.
Also, the cases where people have never heard, they are then they are judged only on the light (truth) they had. Their own consciences judge them. If they go to heaven, it is still because Jesus paid the price for their sin- but of course God is just and will not hold them accountable for what they didn't know, only what they did know.
However, for anyone who does know, and who is capable of understanding, it is the ONLY way. And rejection of that way will result in NOT going to heaven.

Well one has to repent and accept Jesus payment.
I mean anyone can say I accept Jesus but they need to repent of their sins too.
