Also, is Ceasar brand canned food good for them at all? Lastly, can anyone recommend some good, nutritious (and "gentle") solid puppy food for a Yorkie?

Take them to the Vet.

And no, Ceasar is not a good dog food at all. A good one for your smaller dog would be Canidae.

Ok, take your dog to the vet please. It could be not serious at all or it could be fatal. Can you give us more symptoms? Lethargy?

Cesar is a terrible food I'm sad to say.

Try
Wolf King Wee Bits
Canidae
Innova
California Naturals
Buffalo Blue

Or anything comparable. If you want to identify a good food, look at the ingredients. They are listed by amount. The first ingredient in the food you are feeding in water. The first ingredient in the above mentioned dog food is meat. Hmmmmmmmmmm

Good luck!!

The best is to take the pup to the vets.
My Yorkies get fed Purina One puppy to 1 year old and then Purina One Adult.

Your best bet is going to be, taking your puppy to the vet, and have him check the puppy out, and advise you where to go from there. There could be a chance the puppy has worms, and the vet can treat it. Good Luck

try giving it a peice of a tums and some water, and if it keeps doing it, seems weak or listless,or doesnt drink take it to the vet right away..I pureed cooked meats and veggies for mine when she was small (she loved icecream tho for dessert) .once she was old enough for an all solid diet I put her on a mix of Diamond small breed and Prince dry foods along with fresh veggies and fruit as snacks (its xmas and shes already waiting for her favorite treat ,sweetpotatoes) ..soon as she gets feeling better give her a nice warm bubby bath and a rub down witha soft towel ,they love that sort of stuff.

it's normal for dogs to occasionally vomit, but if it's happening frequently, get them checked out! canned food in general is not good to feed your pets. it's bad for their teeth, and it's also higher in sugars and fats and can contribute to obesity. switch to dry food. hills science diet is a good dog food, but there are other ones that are good as well. it really just depends on your dog. some dogs do good on the cheap stuff. as long as your dog is the right weight (you can feel the ribs, but not see them), their coat looks good, and they're not going to the bathroom too much (more than three times a day), then it's fine!

Have your pup vet checked. Puppies that are vomiting dehydrate very fast. Happy Holidays.
