I have a Revlon ceramic straightener that works great. My hair is REALLY curly, and I want to straighten my hair every day. But I'm not sure if that will just fry it. I was wondering if a lot of conditioner would make it safe to do that every day.

I can't blowdry my hair either, as that would make my hair even more poofy. Any suggestions on which heat protector I should use?

About 2 times a week will be great because: if you use it everyday you will get your hair unhealthy and some of it will start falling off trust me! and anyways if you wash your hair every other day then you don't need to use the straightener evry day because as long as you don't wash it won't turn curly again.

the less you straighten it the better your hair will be. have you tried using a straightening shampoo and conditioner? after that use a straightening gel or spray and blowdry your hair with a round brush then you can straighten it as needed. do you wash your hair every day? you don't have to, the shampoo strips your hair of natural oils that are good for it. every other day or every two days is fine and that would keep you from damaging your hair.
good luck!!

I would reccomend only using your flat iron every other day or maybe only a few times a week. If you use it daily your hair will start to become dry and fried. Then you'll end up having to cut it all off. If you really need to use your flat iron everyday, you should make sure you condition your hair really well to prevent any damgage.

I have straightened my hair everyday for years and i've been fine.

as long as you use protective spray and condition it regually it should be okay :)

the only damage ever done to my hair was once when the ends of one section frayed.

I left them and it was fine. Some people choose to cut them off but I didn't.

Hope this helps!
happy straightening!

yes you can:]
your hair WILL get damaged no matter what to tell you the truth though.
just get right products,no crappy heat protection.
check out paul mitchell its the only brand i can trust.and make surre you get your hair trimmed once a month:]
and condioner....just get some paul mitchell conditioner treatments and it will help because pharmacy stores, etc. can be counterfeit, old, tampered with and the pantenes and stuff have a lot of wax which is bad.
good luck:]

Beauty supply stores sell a spray which is used before heating products. It helps prevent your ends from breaking and burning. Be careful with overconditioning your hair...it can make it feel gummy.

I used to straighten my hair EVERY day, and it became fried and gross. My natural hair is almost back- I had to get the ends trimmed off.

DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID.

Straighten your hair no more then three times a week!!!
