What do you mean by windows XP that works on Windows me? you want to replace your existant WME by XP?? well if your computer is already slow with WME it'll get worse with XP, i think you need to clean your computer or reinstall WME on a formatted Hard disc.

However, there are a lot of things you need to do BEFORE you even install the operating system... you would need to go to your computer manufacturers' web site and find the updated drivers that you would need for when XP is installed; some of the stuff needs to be done before you load XP, some after.
I agree with the previous poster, though -- your computer is already having issues, loading XP would probably not solve your problem -- it may make it worse. I honestly don't recommend you trying this. Sorry..

Windows XP & windows ME are both "operating systems (OS). So I am unsure what you are attemping to do.
