Nope.. While they do not mind an arm around them or being physically handled by me, they do not like to be held.

Yes. My 3 year old chihuahua loves to be held. If he had his way, he would be held around the clock. He a sweet, cuddly little fellow. He loves for my 11 year old son to hold him and/or carry him around. My other chihuahua, who is 1&1/2 years old likes to be held and cuddled when he is sleepy, but he can't seem to hold still long enough the rest of the time.Merry Christmas!

Our dog did not really like to be held, (To Big) But she did like it when I would lay next to her & pet her. Also liked to go to sleep with her head on my pillow. Always wanted to be near me unless she was out side watching for critters in the field. (Fenced Yard.)

My dog's a dalmatian, so he's not small enough to be carried around anymore, but he does like to climb on my lap for cuddles and he does let us pick him up if we have to. He used to love being picked up as a puppy though

Yes, but the problem is I have a 98 lb. lab that is our "dog"hter. She thinks she fits in laps and sits on my lap as I blow dry my hair. She also sleeps with us.

The thing is, I wouldn't trade her for anything in the world!

My toy poodle loved to be held! She died over a year ago, but I still regret not holding her more.
