Starting this morning my dog's back right leg began shaking. At first I thought it was perhaps the new floor that she was not yet used to; however, the shaking continued on the carpet and couch. It seems as though she's scratching a phantom itch in the air. Does anyone have an idea as to what is wrong with my poor dog?

It could be a twitch, most smaller dogs have those on occasion.
She may have hurt herself when jumping onto the couch or going up and down stairs.

You should most likely call your vet tomorrow morning [as they probably aren't open today] and tell him/her the dogs symptoms. They'll tell you if its serious or not and deal with it from there.

Good luck, and hope your puppy gets better!

Your dog might experiencing upset stomach, normally they make movements to ignore the trouble in their tummy, also the cause of body shaking.

How old is she? Older dogs sometimes do this. You may need to take her to the vet if it continues. Poor thing!!!

Bored sh itless.
Get him / her some sheep to herd or deer to hunt.
Ever see people sitting there flicking their foot. Same thing. The motor is running at idle and nothing to do.

get her checked tomorrow... It might be nothing, but you need to know and we cannot tell you... only a vet can and the vet has to SEE the dog in person to know....
